Back in February, we brought an early version of what would become Time-line Live to ISE Barcelona. The response exceeded our expectations so the past few months, we've been working hard on getting a version ready for public release.

Understanding Music in Real Time

Time-line Live is software that connects directly to professional DJ equipment and understands the music in real time using our proprietary machine learning technology. It identifies upcoming musical moments (builds, drops, breakdowns, fake drops, and other transitions) and gives lighting designers, VJs and show operators the information they need to stay synchronized with a live performance. It can also drive lighting, visuals and special effects automatically through OSC and MIDI.

Lighting designers, VJs, show operators and production teams immediately understood the problem we were trying to solve. Live music isn't scripted. DJs change tracks, extend sections, mix on the fly and react to the crowd. Meanwhile, everyone else behind the scenes is trying to stay perfectly synchronized.

From Prototype to Real Stages

Since February, we've spent countless hours improving our machine learning models, refining the user experience and, most importantly, testing Time-line Live where it matters most: on real shows.

Time-line Live has been deployed at several live events and festivals, where we've had the opportunity to work alongside lighting designers, VJs and production teams in real production environments.

What Operators Told Us

The feedback has been incredibly encouraging.

Operators have told us that Time-line Live gives them greater confidence during unpredictable DJ performances by making it easier to anticipate what's coming next (e.g. spotting that tricky fake drop). Others have been excited about using its real-time musical understanding to drive lighting, visuals and special effects automatically through OSC and MIDI, opening the door to new creative workflows that simply weren't possible before.

We're incredibly grateful to everyone who has tested early versions, shared feedback and trusted us on live productions. Every deployment has helped shape the product into something more reliable, more useful and more intuitive.
